Just a short blog on the three major supermarkets here in Geneva and their loyalty cards.

Coop – Supercard

Free to everyone – no credit check required. Order on line at www.supercard.ch. Collect 1 point for every franc spent in store and at petrol stations and some times get extra ones for purchasing certain items.  These can then be redeemed for pay by point promotions on food and drink (I cashed mine in on champagne) or used in the Coop City at any time to pay for non-food items with 100 points worth one franc.

Migros Cumulus Card

Free to everyone – no credit check required. Order on line at https://www.migros.ch/de/cumulus. Collect 1 point for every franc spent in Migros and partner stores (SportXX, Melectronics, Micasa and Do it + Garden) and sometimes extra points on certain items. Then every 2 months you receive vouchers  in multiples of 5chfs (5chfs for each set of 500 points) in the post to pay for food or other items in any Migros store.   You also get plenty of offers and discounts through the post for Migros and partner stores.

Manor myOne Card

This is both a credit card and a store loyalty card for collecting points.  Pickup the leaflet in store or apply on line www.manor.ch/fr/u/meine-manorkarte. You get 1 point for every franc spent if you use it as a loyalty card and 2 per franc if you use it as a credit card as well.  You can them spend the points (a minimum spend of 500 points equals 5 chfs) from the day after they are credited to you at any Manor store on food or other items.

I have all three in my purse and can honestly say I do use them all and getting the loyalty ‘spends’ always feels like a treat!
