Activities for International Women, English speaking activities, explore geneva, learning french in geneva, meeting people in Geneva, new to geneva
We are approaching summer and as many make plans to leave in July and August, there are some of us who still want to get out, explore and make new friends. If you are looking for a great way to do this, come check out the AIWC, a organization for women of all nationalities.
Our monthly Coffee from 10:00 (with a short presentation at 10:30) is a great opportunity to find out more about our language and art classes, creative pursuits, community volunteering, book discussions in English, French and Spanish and hiking around Geneva.
Our upcoming excursions include a trip on one of Geneva’s gorgeous steam boats, a tour of the Swiss Parliament building and a look into the machinery room of the Jet d’Eau.
Don’t be dissuaded by our name! AIWC members represent more than 45 nationalities from all corners of the globe. At the Welcome Coffee, many of our members will be there to share with you more about our club’s history, activities, and community service. No advance registration is necessary.
The AIWC is located on the 4th floor at 11 Route de Chêne, Geneva. The closest public transportation stops are Amandolier on the #12 tram line and Gare des Eaux Vives on the #21 bus line. For more information, please see our website or phone our offices at +41 22 736 01 20.
We hope you’ll join us Wednesday morning!
We are a group of international women living in Geneva, Switzerland. If you would like to learn more about our activities and excursions, visit our website at http://www.aiwcgeneva.org/
Nice photo of all the lovely hiking ladies!
That is indeed a fantastic picture of the hiking ladies. We did that hike last year toward the end of summer (https://livingingeneva.wordpress.com/2017/09/01/spectacular-gorge-hike-less-than-2-hours-away-by-train/)
Thank you or this Christine! Just perfect!!! Lucie
