Spring has sprung! Are you ready to get out of the house, meet new friends and explore this great country we live in? If so, come check out the AIWC, a club for women of all nationalities.
Our monthly Coffee from 10:00 (with a short presentation at 10:30) is a great opportunity to find out more about our language and art classes, creative pursuits, community volunteering, book discussions in English, French and Spanish and hiking around Geneva.
We are also planning fantastic outings to the Giannada Foundation in Martigny, a tour on one of Geneva’s gorgeous steam boats and a trip to the Swiss Parliament building. Some of our special activities include a Geneva Photo Treasure Hunt, our 60th Anniversary Gala and a tour of the Jet d’Eau.
Don’t be dissuaded by our name! AIWC members represent more than 45 nationalities from all corners of the globe. At the Welcome Coffee, many of our members will be there to share with you more about our club’s history, activities, and community service. No advance registration is necessary.
The AIWC is located on the 4th floor at 11 Route de Chêne, Geneva. The closest public transportation stops are Amandolier on the #12 tram line and Gare des Eaux Vives on the #21 bus line. For more information, please see our website or phone our offices at +41 22 736 01 20.
We hope you’ll join us Wednesday morning!

Ha! As much as I love your compliment, I’m not able to write fast enough to make a living from it. Not this blog but other blogs take many, many hours to get the words right!
Just last week, I was out with our hiking group and one of the newer members described the AIWC as her “lifeline” when she moved to Geneva. For new people it offers an easy way to connect, and for long time Geneva women, the AIWC can expand your horizons. Please come to the Club tomorrow to learn more.
