Activities for International Women – find out more at our January Welcome Coffee

, , , , ,

Happy New Year from the AIWC! If you’ve made resolutions to improve your English or French, meet new friends, begin volunteering in the community, learn a new creative pursuit like painting or sewing, or increase your exercise and explore Geneva; you should come check out the AIWC at our Welcome Coffee this Wednesday at 10:00.

Our monthly Welcome Coffee from 10:00 until 11:30 (with a short presentation at 10:30) is a great opportunity to meet other women in Geneva, enjoy a cup of coffee and some homemade baked goods, and learn more about the resources and opportunities offered by the AIWC.

Don’t be dissuaded by our name! AIWC members represent more than 45 nationalities from all corners of the globe. At the Welcome Coffee, many of our members will be there to share with you more about our club’s history, activities, and community service.  No advance registration is necessary.

The AIWC is located on the 4th floor at 11 Route de Chêne, Geneva.  The closest public transportation stops are Amandolier on the #12 tram line and Gare des Eaux Vives on the #21 bus line. For more information, please see our website or phone our offices at +41 22 736 01 20.

We hope you’ll join us Wednesday morning!

We are a group of international women living in Geneva, Switzerland. If you would like to learn more about our activities and excursions, visit our website at

About Alpenhorn

Originally from Alaska, I have lived in Geneva, Switzerland for 24 years. We love the skiing, sailing and climbing here; all within a two hour radius. My children were educated in the Swiss system which helped our family fit into our adopted country.
