It’s turned cold and damp but this free twenty minute light and sound show in the Parc des Bastions is absolutely worth your time. I was entranced, children were dancing and my dog stared intently at the butterfly fluttering across the building. My only recommendation, is dress warmly and bring plastic or a cushion to sit on.
From November 2 to November 20 at 17:45, 19:00 and 20:30, the oldest University of Geneva building transforms from its inconspicuous grey to a lively three dimensional story about the development of life.
The show, which corresponds with the public conferences on Decoding the Book of Life, has been developed by the Colloque Wright Foundation along with the University of Geneva. The lights are projected onto the oldest University building which also happens to be the campus of Literature. For more information click here.
Since the traffic is crazy in this area during the first showing, I would recommend arriving by public transport at the stop Place de Neuve which is located directly in front of the park.
