I finally made it – my 6th summer here in Geneva. The alarm was set for 5, I had arranged to meet people there (to stop me turning over and going back to sleep), I hopped on the bike and was at Bains des Paquis by 5.45 this morning.
A FREE cup of coffee and a lake side seat and along with a surprisingly large number of other early birds we listened to a guitar and keyboard duo as the sun rose over the lake.
Every morning from now until 28 August there is ‘Aubes Musicales’ (music at dawn) from 6am to 7am, completely free and completely magical.
