This Saturday from 11:00-17:00 is Dog Advice Day (for lack of a better translation of Journée Conseils aux Propriétaires Chiens). The schedule is full of entertaining expositions of dogs available for adoption, dog agility, dog dancing, dog sports and my favorite, service dogs in action and in training. In fact I will be there from 15:00 with Voice my foster puppy-in-training from le Copain.
Children will love the puppy socialization demonstration, the St. Bernard and Bernese Mountain Dog show; and will benefit from the talks about how to behave safely around dogs.
Stands will also be set up where you can personally speak to representatives of canine educators, veterinarians, Swiss authorities (regarding the regulations surrounding owning a dog), the Geneva animal shelter and two service dog organizations.
Make sure to stop by and say hi!
