Ten women from the AIWC had the good fortune of beautiful weather for their photogenic discovery walk with Teresa Kaufman amongst the impressive mountains of Chamonix. One woman shares her experience and several photos.

A trip to the mountains that did not require trudging up and down 1000 meters – an opportunity not to be missed!  On October 20th a small group of AIWC women, plus our guide Teresa, drove up to the Chamonix, France area for a day of photographing the Alps and the charming mountain village of Montroc.  Included in the fun was lunch at a rustic refuge, right in the village.

The foliage!  The glaciers!  The new snow on the Alps!  The quiet beauty of the village!  It’s one of those places where you could sit in one place for days and never tire of the view. Here are only a few of the many photographs I took that day.  Thanks to Theresa I experimented with different settings on my camera and you see some of the pleasing results here.
