A couple of weeks ago, our Volunteer Services team organized a Halloween party for the children at Au Cœur des Grottes, an organization in Geneva supporting single mothers in need who are victims of domestic violence.

When the children arrived, you could see the excitement in their eyes when they saw all the spooky decor, piles of costumes, jack-o-lanterns, crafts and sweet treats, of course!

We helped the children with a bunch of activities like learning how to decorate pumpkins, make jewelry and bob for apples…I think we had just as much fun as they did!

I would like to thank all the volunteers who came to help out, as well as those who donated our incredible decorations. It wouldn’t have been possible with out each and every one of you. 

Did you know? The Volunteer Services group will be back at Au Cœur des Grottes for an early Christmas party on December 3rd! We are having a Toy Drive to bring every child a present, and we need your help! Please contact Michele if you would like to donate a few presents and make this a very special Christmas for these wonderful children. Deadline is December 1st.
