When we moved to Geneva, one of my goals was to strengthen my art skills, or at least feed the hobby.
It was hard to find art classes in Geneva, in English. However, recently, I have had some luck and wanted to share the two English speaking art classes that I am currently enrolled in:
All Minds – Colour Painting
This course is taught by an organization called AllMinds. They have various offerings including drawing and painting. They even have field trips for school aged kids.
The course I am taking explores color – how to make them, understanding complements and how to use those, as well as tones/tints/shades and their impact on your composition.
There are varying levels of skill so it is quite fun to watch everyone’s development.
American International Women’s Club – Abstract Art
This course is taught on Friday mornings at AIWC. We are currently focusing on pastels with geometric shapes. However, in the future we will explore other mediums and subjects.
Do you know of any other art courses in Geneva? If so, please be so kind as to paste information below in the comments section for the benefit of our readers.
We are a group of international women living in Geneva, Switzerland. If you would like to join the AIWC, please visit our website at http://www.aiwcgeneva.org/.

Costanza, Yes, I see now that this post is very old, indeed, and should be updated. One of our American International Women’s Club volunteers has also added a Watercolor Painting and Sketching class to our activities.
