The American International Women’s Club offices may have been quiet over the summer, but the AIWC photography group has been busy planning its Photo Exhibition.
Featuring works from 17 of our photographers, the Photo Exhibition 2012 kicks off September 27th with an opening-night vernissage, an opportunity for club members and members of the community alike to chat with participating photographers, learn more about the photography group, and enjoy an evening with friends. The photo exhibition will be open to club members from September 28th until October 31st during regular club opening hours. All photos are for sale unless noted otherwise; a portion of each sale will be donated to the club.
Members of the photography group gathered this summer to plan the photo exhibition
The personal styles and experiences of each photographer, as well as the group’s wide range of monthly themes, served as inspiration for the photos on display. Our photographers range from novice to professional, with all different types of cameras and perspectives from all over the world.
In sum, the exhibition reflects how diverse our members are in many ways, but with the shared passion for photography that unites us.
The vernissage, open to the public, lasts from 15:30 until 20:00 on Thursday, September 27th at the AIWC, 11 Route de Chêne, 1207 Geneva. Mark your calendars and come check it out!
