If you are a morning person, Geneva has a treat for you! During the summer months, between 6 and 7 am, free music is offered on certain mornings at the Bains des Pâquis. This may seem like an unorthodox hour, but there is something very magical about being outside that early and watching the way the sun changes the colors of the landscape as it rises into the sky.
The musical offerings can vary greatly. It may be classical, folk, jazz, latin, Greek, African, or any other genre of music you can imagine. Some of them even encourage participation. Last summer, my girlfriends and I met there one morning and learned traditional folk dancing. This morning they had Zumba, which is an exercise class.

Another bonus to getting up this early is that the restaurant offers free coffee! They also offer a very nice breakfast for a reasonable price. In general, the food offered there is very good…breakfast, lunch and dinner.
